Shivam Dube was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and he completed his schooling at Hansraj Morarji Public School. From a young age, Shivam was passionate about cricket and he began playing the sport when he was just eight years old.

He would often practice for hours on end and this dedication helped him to develop his skills quickly.

After completing his schooling, Shivam went on to study at Rizvi College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Mumbai.

During his time at college, he continued to play cricket and he also took part in various inter-college competitions. Shivam’s performances on the field caught the attention of several local cricket coaches and he soon began training with some of the best coaches in Mumbai.

Shivam Dube Domestic Career

Shivam Dube made his debut in domestic cricket for Mumbai in the 2017-18 season. He had a slow start to his career, but his performances gradually improved over time.

He made his mark in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the 2018-19 season, where he scored 286 runs in five innings at an average of 57.20. He also took six wickets in the tournament at an economy rate of 4.60.

Dube’s performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy caught the attention of the selectors and he was included in the Mumbai squad for the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy.

In his first match in the tournament, he scored a century and took a five-wicket haul.

He ended the tournament with 632 runs and 23 wickets, making him one of the standout performers for Mumbai.

In 2019, Dube was signed by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the Indian Premier League. He played in 11 matches and scored 40 runs at an average of 13.33. He also took four wickets in the tournament at an economy rate of 11.66.

In the same year, he was also included in the India A squad for the West Indies tour.

Shivam Dube International Career

Shivam Dube made his international debut for India in a T20I match against Bangladesh on November 3, 2019. He had a forgettable debut, as he was dismissed for just one run and went wicketless in the match.

However, he was given another opportunity in the next match and he made the most of it. He scored 27 runs off just 10 balls and took a wicket in the match, helping India to win the game.

Dube was also included in the Indian squad for the West Indies tour in December 2019. He played in all three T20Is and two ODIs on the tour, but he didn’t have much of an impact with the bat or ball.

He scored just 73 runs in the five matches and took three wickets at an economy rate of 8.00.

In January 2020, Dube was included in the Indian squad for the T20I series against Sri Lanka. He played in the first two matches of the series, but he didn’t have much of an impact. He scored just nine runs and went wicketless in the two matches.
